Georgia Hiller, Republican for Collier County Commissioner District 2
PO BOX 771116
Naples, FL 34107
Welcome
My name is Georgia Hiller, and I am running for Collier County Commission, District 2, the office currently held by Frank Halas.
As of today, property tax values in Collier County are falling. The county has refused to shrink its overall budget and has not significantly reduced its total employment numbers. It has shifted the economic burden to taxpayers through higher taxes and fees. I don’t think I am the only fiscal conservative bothered by this state of affairs.
I am a traditional republican. I believe in the traditional republican values of less government, less taxes and impact fees, and more transparency into county expenses. I support what our forefathers intended in our Constitution.
Unfortunately, Collier County is suffering from more government, more taxes, and less transparency.
If I am elected, I will use my education and experience as an attorney, financial accountant and auditor, and community leader to work to promote fiscal transparency, to eliminate wasteful spending, and to reduce taxes and regulations to make Collier County more business friendly and attractive to citizens looking for a place to live and work.
I bring you the skills that are needed in these hard economic times to make the hard economic decisions that will carry us safely through this storm. I promise to give you my undivided, full-time commitment to represent your voice.
Please vote for me on August 24, 2010!
Thanks for your support, Georgia Hiller
